Son Goku - Saiyuki

Sketched from the back cover of Saiyuki Reload, volume 1.
It's a fairly old but good series, and I wonder why I hadn't tried it sooner That and Goku is epic.



Was going to fine-line this picture, but after thinking about it, I thought it looked much nicer as a grey-lead drawing. I also left my rough outlines and guidelines, just 'cause they looked cool



I had a bit of trouble emulating the art style of Saiyuki, purely because I'm used to drawing soft, slender figures, but this change was a bit challenging and very fun

Proportion may be -slightly- off since I took a few tries to get everything right [coughhislegcough]
